Scott Devlin

Scott began his climbing career doing alpine mountaineering in the mountains of Europe and in the US. After a successful career in adventure racing and ultramarathon trail running he transitioned to sport and trad climbing, while remaining passionate about the big alpine routes. Scott is a Climbing Instructor and Youth Coach at Climb Bentonville and is an accredited American Mountain Guide Association Single Pitch Instructor and is trained in Wilderness Medicine. He has a passion for sharing his climbing experience by teaching and guiding others in the mountains, and he believes that rock climbing is the ideal vehicle for personal growth, as it develops fitness, mental focus, the ability to manage stress as well as being a great way to connect with nature. These days Scott can be found climbing trad and sport at Sam's Throne, Horseshoe Canyon, Cowell and, every chance he gets, going out west to climb big adventurous multipitch routes.

Andrew Childs

Andrew started climbing when he was 14. At first he focused on bouldering, learning movement and gaining power. Not to long after that he fell in love with rope climbing. After graduating high school he ended up moving out west for a few years, making his way through the mountains of Colorado, California and Arizona. Now you can find Andrew teaching classes and setting routes at Climb Bentonville. He recently got his SPI through the AMGA and his Wilderness First Responder certification. If you don't see him at the gym, chances are he's climbing outside somewhere!
